Jules Charette is a senior partner at our Montréal office and has spent his entire career with us. He is highly experienced in the fields related to corporate tax at the domestic and international levels, including mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, capital markets, project financing, structured finance, derivatives, financial instruments, infrastructure projects, cross-border transactions and executive compensation. He has also developed an extensive knowledge in estate planning for individuals. He regularly advises a number of major Canadian public companies and family offices. He is a member of various organizations, including the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association. Jules sits on the boards of a number of private companies and charitable organizations. He was called to the Quebec Bar in 1981.
