Overview

Jon has a broad commercial litigation practice focused on corporate and commercial disputes. He has successfully acted on contract disputes, shareholder disputes, real estate disputes, business torts, insolvency matters and various other commercial claims.

Jon has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court, British Columbia Court of Appeal, Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, the Federal Court of Canada and numerous administrative tribunals, including the Environmental Appeal Board and the Residential Tenancy Board. He also regularly appears before arbitrators.

Jon is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Advocates Society.

Jon began his career at Stikeman Elliott, practicing in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Prior to returning to Stikeman Elliott, Jon practiced at a leading Vancouver boutique law firm.
