Overview

Jennifer Babe was Associate Counsel in Miller Thomson's Toronto office. Her commercial law practice focused on secured transactions, the securing of sales and leases of significant products, and purchases of businesses, assets and shares. She worked with the firm's financial services team and advised on personal property legislation across Canada and federally. Her experience included automotive finance and leasing, vehicle manufacturers and lessors, consumer protection, privacy and Canada's anti-spam legislation. She wrote and lectured regularly on personal property law and received the Law Society Medal for legislative reform and pro bono work.
