Overview

David McCarthy is a Toronto-based lawyer and former senior partner at Stikeman Elliott, where he advised on corporate and commercial matters with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. His work included acquisitions and dispositions, corporate reorganizations, shareholder matters, commercial contracts and corporate governance for Canadian and international clients. He retired from Stikeman Elliott in March 2025 and served as president of Golf Canada through 2025.
