Overview
David Brown is a partner and leader of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in Stikeman Elliott's Vancouver office. He conducts a broad litigation and dispute resolution practice with emphasis on corporate and commercial matters, including shareholder disputes, products liability and insolvency. He has acted as counsel in business-related disputes before trial and appeal courts, arbitration panels and administrative tribunals.
David is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). This fellowship underscores David's deep experience in the arbitration of complex commercial disputes.
David is a Fellow (FCIArb), Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, awarded to practitioners with advance expertise in arbitration and dispute resolution. David is also a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, former officer of the Litigation Committee of the International Bar Association, a Vancouver Bar Admission Course volunteer instructor and a guest lecturer in the University of British Columbia's trial advocacy course.
