Overview

David Martin (July 25, 1950 - July 17, 2024) was a Vancouver litigation lawyer and former partner of Miller Thomson. He built a 49-year legal career with Douglas Symes Brissenden and Miller Thomson, where his work included health, administrative and public law. He advised the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, Paramedics BC/Yukon and Research in Motion, and argued a Supreme Court of Canada case. He graduated from the University of British Columbia's law school in 1974.
