Brendan J. Piovesan is a Partner in Farris LLP's corporate and commercial and real estate groups. He acts principally for private real estate developers and advises on all aspects of real estate development, including site acquisition considerations, partnership and other investment vehicle structuring, offering memoranda and other public offering documents, equity and debt financing, rights of way, easements, ground leases, air space subdivisions, rezoning and other municipal permits, and related matters needed to complete development projects in British Columbia. He also works with in-house and outside counsel for major municipalities in British Columbia and regularly works alongside or opposite banks, credit unions and Mortgage Investment Corporations lending in the province. Before joining Farris, he practiced real estate development law at a Vancouver firm.
