Alex devotes a significant part of his practice to advising employers and executives on executive compensation and employment matters. He regularly drafts and advises on employment agreements, incentive and bonus plans, retention agreements, severance agreements, independent contractor agreements and workplace policies. He works with employers when they are confronted with departing key employees and advises on fiduciary duties and non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality obligations. He also advises clients on sickness, disability and accommodation matters. Alex frequently works with Farris teams on complex corporate transactions providing advice on a variety of labour and employment issues. Alex regularly acts as a speaker and contributor at seminars and conferences on topical human resources legal issues.
