Overview

Ted practices in the area of Insurance Defence Litigation including professional negligence and errors and omissions matters, personal injury claims, motor vehicle defence, occupiers’ liability, product liability, and fire and property losses. Ted has been defence counsel in relation to policy coverage issues and first party claims on insurance policies.

Ted has advanced and defended subrogated claims related to large losses and has experience in commercial and construction litigation, wrongful dismissal claims, and shareholder dispute matters.

Ted and his wife have one son and he spends his time in hockey arenas (also as a minor hockey coach); on soccer pitches; and in music lessons. He has served as the past Treasurer for the Manitoba Lieutenant Governor’s Youth Experience Program Education.

Ted has trial experience in corporate and commercial matters, subrogation, personal injury, debtor and creditor and taxation matters. He has appeared before the following courts and tribunals in a wide variety of disputes:
