Overview

Shauna’s clients benefit from her 20 years of diverse and deep experience, complemented by a thorough and practical approach.
She practices administrative law in the areas of professional and regulatory compliance, municipal taxation and assessment, environment, and municipal law. She also practices in the area of bankruptcy and insolvency law. Shauna regularly acts for regulatory bodies, private entities, non-profit entities and public bodies.
Shauna works to understand the nuances of her clients’ businesses and the issues they face. This allows her to assist her clients in achieving successful results whether in the course of their normal business or in the context of dispute resolution. This approach also positions Shauna to be a compelling and effective advocate in the course of litigation. She has successfully represented clients at all levels of court including the Supreme Court of Canada.
She is also a Qualified Arbitrator. In this role, her experience in administrative law and decision-making is invaluable.
Shauna enjoys cycling, running, racing, and hiking and is also currently a speaker at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology photojournalism course.
