Renn Moodley, a seasoned litigator, concentrates his practice on civil litigation, with a particular emphasis on Construction Law and Commercial Litigation. His practice also encompasses Employment Law and Debt Recovery, two areas where he has garnered substantial experience. Renn has represented clients at all levels of Court in Alberta and has been extensively involved in complex Arbitrations.

In his Construction Law practice, Renn regularly acts for institutional clients, owners and contractors in disputes arising from construction projects. These disputes often involve claims for breach of contract, delays, deficiencies and builders’ liens. Renn has represented clients in significant multi-party litigation involving major construction projects in Alberta.

Renn regularly provides clients with advice and guidance in respect of pre-construction matters including the preparation of construction contracts and contract administration. Renn’s years of experience with construction litigation assists him with identifying potential issues early into a construction project which provides his clients with the opportunity to take steps to reduce risk and mitigate potential losses.

Renn’s Commercial Litigation practice is centered on representing businesses of all sizes in shareholder and contract disputes, partnership disputes, and litigation arising from mergers and acquisitions.
