Advising clients in both the private and public sectors, Mikkel works on matters ranging from collection disputes to contractual drafting considerations. He also has a keen interest in property law disputes, stemming from his close ties to his own family farm in rural Alberta. Mikkel, who maintains family traditions on the farm to this day, especially enjoys assisting rural property owners navigate property-related disputes ranging from adverse possession to trespass.
Mikkel also has a small practice in the area of adult guardianship and trusteeship, and assists clients to navigate the process under the Adult Guardianship and Trusteeship Act.
