Laura Feehan is a skilled litigation lawyer, with over 10 years of experience primarily in construction law, commercial disputes and defending professional negligence claims. She also has experience in wills and estate and personal injury disputes.

Her commitment to client success is matched by her reputation for attention to detail, clear and direct communication, and practical problem-solving. She has successfully represented clients in high-stakes disputes, including against professional negligence allegations, breach of contract claims, delay and disruption claims, and issues involving insurance coverage disputes.

Laura provides comprehensive legal services to contractors, developers, property owners, engineers, architects and other stakeholders. Her ability to balance legal strategy with a keen understanding of the construction industry sets her apart as a trusted advisor to clients navigating the often-challenging landscape of multi-party construction law disputes.

Laura has successfully represented her clients at all levels of Court in Alberta. She is also skilled in resolving complex disputes through alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration.

A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan College of Law, Laura was admitted as a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2015. She began her practice with Emery Jamieson as an Articling Student in 2014 and joined the Partnership in 2022.

In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She can also be found on a bike, either road, cross or gravel. Laura is dedicated to giving back to her community through coaching ringette and soccer teams.
