Overview

Kristina D. Persaud has a general litigation practice with an emphasis on insurance defence claims involving personal injury, property damage, occupier’s liability, municipal litigation, subrogation, construction, employment, professional liability and coverage disputes.

She has acted for individuals, corporations, municipalities and the public sector on a wide variety of issues. She is committed to providing exceptional representation to her clients and passionately advocating on their behalf, and became a Partner with the firm in 2023.

She has appeared before the Alberta Provincial Court and Alberta Court of King's Bench. She has assisted on matters before the Alberta Court of Appeal and quasi-judicial tribunals.

Outside of her litigation practice at Brownlee LLP, Kristina has volunteered with the Pro Bono Alberta Civil Claims Duty Counsel program and community organizations. She also delivers seminars and educational sessions for numerous organizations.
