Overview

Allyson has a general litigation practice with a focus on employment law. Her employment-related work includes assisting clients with developing and drafting employment-related policies and contracts. Her experience in other areas includes aboriginal law and defamation. Allyson has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta and before the Federal Court of Canada. She also has experience pursuing First Nation Treaty benefit claims before the Specific Claims Tribunal.

Prior to attending law school, Allyson had a lengthy career as a journalist for the Edmonton Journal and the Calgary Herald covering Alberta politics and social affairs.
