Overview

Sandra is in-house counsel with Aviva Trial Lawyers in Ottawa and was the first recruit for its Ottawa legal team when that office opened in 2021. She previously practised insurance defence as a senior associate at BLG. Her practice covers personal-injury claims, including slips and falls and motor-vehicle accidents, property damage, product liability, subrogated claims and coverage issues. She has also represented real estate agents, engineers, insurance brokers and mortgage brokers in professional-liability matters, and has experience in plaintiff personal injury, medical malpractice and commercial litigation.
