Overview
Peter was a litigation partner in BLG's Calgary office, practising complex commercial and construction litigation and domestic and international arbitration, particularly disputes involving large industrial and infrastructure projects. His work included contract, constitutional, tax and shareholder disputes, injunctions and major claims involving engineering issues, deficiencies, change orders, delay, liquidated damages, warranties, indemnities and tendering. He appeared before the Alberta Court of King's Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada and acted in arbitrations under ICC, UNCITRAL and ADRIC rules. Peter also sat as an arbitrator and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. In January 2026, he was appointed a Justice of the Court of King's Bench of Alberta.
