Overview

Peter is a Calgary energy partner whose practice focuses on complex commercial, transactional and M&A matters across the energy sector, with particular experience in energy infrastructure, oil and gas and midstream projects. He advises on the formation, financing, acquisition and divestiture of corporations, partnerships and joint ventures and represents energy infrastructure companies, offshore producers, midstream operators, governments, foreign investors, private equity sponsors, boards and buyers and sellers of energy assets. Peter led BLG's national Energy: Oil and Gas group before joining Dentons in February 2026. His major mandates include the Mackenzie Valley Pipeline, LNG projects and the federal government's acquisition of the Trans Mountain Pipeline.
