Overview

LuAnne Morrow is Counsel in BLG's Calgary office and practises in intellectual property, trademarks, copyright, licensing, advertising and marketing, and privacy and data protection. She assists clients with brand acquisition, protection and management, Internet and social-media law, entertainment, gaming, advertising and sponsorship. Her experience includes trademark prosecution, opposition and enforcement; copyright and trade-secret protection; patent and software licensing; technology licences and software-development agreements; franchising; and intellectual-property advice for major projects. LuAnne has managed significant trademark portfolios for public authorities, educational institutions and an amateur sports organization, and has advised clients in the media and entertainment industries. She has contributed to BLG and Lexis Practice Advisor materials on CASL and Internet law and is recognized in intellectual-property rankings. Her current BLG profile lists her in Calgary as Counsel, admitted to the Alberta Bar in 2002 and the California Bar in 2022, with a J.D. from the University of Calgary.
