Logan Crowell

Overview

Logan Crowell is Counsel in BLG's Toronto office. His practice focuses on health advocacy, privacy, freedom of information, mental health advocacy and medico-legal defence. Logan provides incident and risk-management advice to hospitals and health-care organizations facing complex privacy incidents or potential litigation, and represents those organizations as defence counsel. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and before the Human Rights Tribunal and the Information and Privacy Commissioner. His work includes representing hospitals and hospital staff in medical-malpractice and other civil proceedings, advising health organizations on privacy and regulatory matters, and representing hospitals before human-rights tribunals. Logan has also worked on appellate and health-law matters involving patient care and health regulation. He studied at Queen's University, served on university governance and student-law bodies, and spent a semester on exchange at the University of Hong Kong. BLG lists him as Counsel, admitted in Ontario in 2013.
