Overview

Leon Beukman is Associate Counsel at Meridian Law Group in Vancouver. He has more than 30 years of civil litigation experience, including defending insurance claims involving automobiles, aviation, and products, as well as commercial litigation involving contractual disputes and professional negligence. His aviation practice has included work for airlines, operators, and manufacturers. Leon has represented both plaintiffs and defendants at trial and has appeared before the Supreme Court of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and civil juries, as well as in chambers proceedings, summary trials, and mediations. He practised as an attorney in South Africa from 1989 to 1991 and as an advocate from 1991 to 1998, and was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2002.
