Kevin Nearing is a mediator and arbitrator with Nearing Solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Common Law and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, articled at Scott & Aylen and was called to the Ontario bar in 1985. He joined Scott & Aylen, the Ottawa founding firm of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, as a litigation associate, became a partner in 1990 and remained a partner until 2020, followed by senior counsel until June 2022. His litigation experience includes construction, professional liability, personal injury and employment matters, along with trials, Ontario Court of Appeal appearances, commercial arbitrations and mediations.
