Kelby Carter is a Partner in Gowling WLG's Financial Services Group in Toronto, practising in banking and insolvency law. She acts for lenders and borrowers in domestic, cross-border and international financing transactions, including syndicated loans, acquisition financing, refinancing, asset-based lending and real estate financing, and acts for receivers and secured creditors on insolvency matters. She is also a legal opinion expert and serves on the firm's Opinion Committee and as an opinion review partner in the Lending Practice Group.
