Overview

Jason W. J. Woycheshyn is a Partner in Stewart McKelvey's Halifax office. His broad practice focuses on litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution, and he has extensive trial and appellate experience in courts across Canada, including Alberta and Ontario. Jason acts in corporate, commercial, agribusiness, banking and estates disputes, including shareholder, partnership, commercial contract, real property, injunction, fraud recovery and domestic and international arbitration matters. He also handles intellectual property and licensing disputes, fiduciary duty and professional negligence matters, as well as securities regulatory and enforcement matters, directors' and officers' liability, oppression proceedings and sensitive internal investigations. In agribusiness, he leads investigations and settlements concerning the channeling of agricultural products. Jason earned an LLB from the University of Calgary and was called to the Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia bars. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, president of the Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association, and serves on the boards of Athletics Canada and The Advocates' Society.
