Overview

Hugo Babos-Marchand is a Partner in McCarthy Tétrault's Bankruptcy & Restructuring Group and Practice Lead of its Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in Quebec. He advises secured creditors, debtor companies, trustees, monitors, receivers and acquirers in bankruptcy and insolvency matters. His practice also includes banking, commercial and securities litigation, extraordinary remedies and shareholders' rights disputes. He is a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, holds a master's degree in law from McGill University and a bachelor's degree in law from Université Laval, and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2009.
