Overview

Gavin H. Finlayson is a partner in Miller Thomson's Toronto office who focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation and restructuring matters, often proceeding on an urgent basis. He has played a key role in Canadian restructurings, class actions and other complex litigation, with particular experience in cross-border matters between Canada and the United States. Gavin has acted as counsel in numerous reported decisions and regularly writes and presents on legal developments. As an INSOL Fellow, he teaches courses and serves on the editorial committee for the INSOL International News Update Committee.
