Overview
The Honourable Justice Christine M. Pallotta is a Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, appointed on January 30, 2020. Before her appointment she practised intellectual property law and served as national leader of BLG's Intellectual Property Litigation focus group. Her practice covered trademark, patent, copyright and confidential information cases, and she appeared in Federal Court and appellate matters. She joined Bereskin & Parr in 1999 and BLG in 2011. She holds a B.Sc.H. in Biology from Queen's University and studied law at the University of Toronto. She has written and presented on intellectual property and participated in IPIC, including co-founding its Women in IP Networking Group, as well as the Harold G. Fox Intellectual Property Moot.
