Overview

Calvin Hancock is a Senior Associate in BLG’s Ottawa office. His practice focuses on estate litigation and commercial disputes, including estate and trust litigation, contract disputes, product liability and professional negligence. He also advises private clients on estate and trust administration. Calvin completed his articles at BLG. His work includes analysis of estate and attorney issues, proprietary estoppel and developments in contract and construction law. His related publications address the E-State of the Law, proprietary estoppel and Cowper-Smith v. Morgan, estate and attorney issues, the limits of Ledcor and changes to Canada’s motor vehicle safety regime. He has authored or co-authored BLG publications on these subjects. He has also presented in BLG’s estate law lunch-and-learn series, including discussions of recent cases and pre-death will litigation. He works in English and French.
