Overview

Brad Gilmour is a partner in Osler's Regulatory, Indigenous and Environmental Group in Calgary and co-chair of the Environmental Disputes, Investigations and Enforcement Group. His practice focuses on environmental, energy, natural resources, regulatory and Indigenous law. He advises on facility approval applications across energy, natural resources, chemical, petrochemical, hydro, oil sands, carbon capture and storage, biofuel and renewable power projects. Brad appears before the Alberta Energy Regulator, Alberta Environmental Appeals Board, Alberta Utilities Commission, Natural Resources Conservation Board, British Columbia Environmental Appeal Board and Canada Energy Regulator. He also advises on regulatory compliance, spills, contaminated sites, and environmental and regulatory prosecutions, and has appeared before provincial and federal courts.
