Overview

Barbara Walker-Renshaw is a retired health law lawyer and former Senior Counsel at Borden Ladner Gervais. Her practice focused on healthcare disputes and patient care, health regulatory matters, professional negligence, public law litigation, privacy and personal health information. She advised psychiatric, acute-care and community hospitals on statutory compliance and policy and previously served as interim general counsel at a GTA academic health sciences centre. She was appointed as a part-time lawyer member of Ontario's Consent and Capacity Board in 2024; that appointment was later revoked.
