Overview

Alex K. Paterson was a former partner of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP and a Montréal litigator who pleaded before courts, the Supreme Court of Canada, parliamentary commissions and administrative tribunals. His work included health, construction and accounting law, arbitration and mediation. BLG reported that he died on August 6, 2025, after a distinguished career and extensive service to Québec's health, education and community organizations.
